Just updated to SD 2.4 on my iPad !

I normally fly from Kemble, and the plate for my homebase is spot on - great facility.

Can't stop now, need to go flying with this latest version. Well done SD Team, it's looking good.

Brilliant - it just gets better, excellent facility to store routes and aircraft data on the cloud, keep it going!

One minor point - Aerodrome charts seem to default to landscape, so flying with iPad in 'portrait' puts the picture at 90 degrees! Or am I missing a trick?

Great new version!

I have some ideas to enhance the very welcome scratchpad.

1. Make it accessible with one touch, from a tab on the right, above the current set
2. Slide it open so that it leaves the top of the main map page, with the flight info, eta, altitude, current position etc all visible. That way you can talk to ATC, scribble down a squawk and read off your position and ETA from the same screen.

Keep up the good work.

Hi,

Haven't really had chance to play with this, just wanted to check if Track Logs are also synchronised between machines via the cloud in the same way that Routes and Aircraft Data are?

Thanks

Andy

Great idea, gets my vote.

Like the new version and second the suggestion from the post above.

What I am missing now is the ability to save flightplans in gpx format from the iPad.

I use my iPad running SD as my planning platform which I also carry with me during a trip. It is now very cumbersome and difficult for me to change a routing while on the trip. I can change it on the iPad but I have virtually now good way of propagating this change to my EFIS (MGL Voyager). The EFIS accepts flightplans in gpx format, though. I would like to be able to save the flightplan to a memory card (using the iPad's camera adapter kit) which I then plug directly into the EFIS.

Please consider this addition in the next upcoming version.

Thanks, -- Chris.
